Maranatha is releasing a Top 25 CCLI songs CD produced by Worship Leader Mag’s Phil Sillas. The project will release in the fall of 2011. Look for a video of Fike working on vocals for “How He Loves” on our Videos page. The other song Fike got to sing on was “Your Grace Is Enough”.
FDB’s song, “My Savior Lord” off the new record, “The Moment We’ve Been Waiting For” has been chosen to be added to the next SongDiscovery collection released by Worship Leader Magazine. This accompanying disc of 12-13 worship songs goes out to tens of thousands of worship leaders across the planet. It’s an incredible honor to be included. This is now the 4th song of Fike’s that has been on a SD disc. Very cool. Very cool indeed.
Please be praying for the speedy and complete recovery of our beloved drummer, Matt Vincent. He had back surgery in late July and will be out of commission until early 2012. Jesse Kloppenstein will be filling in for him until he’s ready to return. If you know Matty, send him a message on facebook and tell him you love him!
July of 2011 marked a special experience for FDB… given the opportunity to showcase at the National Worship Leader Conference in Kansas City for 3000+ WORSHIP LEADERS from all across the country. It was a significant moment in the journey of FDB.
FDB is saying goodbye to our good friends Sean Mulholland and Jesse Dillingham. Both of these guys had pivotal roles to play in our band for years, and we love them deeply.
You can’t replace guys like that, but the new line-up of FDB will feature bassist Nathan Stewart, Electric guitarist Ken Medley and keyboardist Ryan Gillespie. We’re fired up about ‘becoming a band’ in the months to come, and getting ready to tour with the new record. We hope to see you out there!
